My boyfriend is in a really wonderful sound design class, and over the weekend he was doing some work on something called a “forced marriage,” or pairing a video clip with incongruous music. Because music really shapes the way experience video content. Is this why Google commercials always make me cry? Or is it because we all want to live in the future? Maybe both.
