What a fun looking physical/digital game! I wonder how hard it actually is to play?

“BELLYFLOP is a Southern California gallery space, theater, concert hall, disco, opera house, laboratory, auditorium and space of worship that appears as a full-water 10 ft.-deep swimming pool with diving board. BELLYFLOP emphasizes projects with ideas and executions that take risks, whether they glide smoothly or result in a mid-torso redness. Like the white cube galleries and black box...

Internet, I will keep this brief, but I am asking a favor of you!
If you have Twitter, could you kindly retweet this so my friend Mathew Kumar can host the IGF awards? If he gets 200 RTs, he might get to share his razor-sharp wit with an audience of several thousand game designers (and the world). If you want PROOF of his brilliance, check out his (nsfw for language) keynote for Gamercamp 2010!

The Sweat Spot LA - Ryan Heffington's Dance Space →
I recently had (minor) surgery on my hand, which means that I have to take a month or so off from yoga (my favorite spot is Urth in Echo Park-any class with Keric, Billy, or Katie is amazing). I was feeling kinda bummed about the prospect of staying sedentary until I’ve got a doctor’s go-ahead to downward dog again. My roommate suggested that I check out dance classes at The Sweat...

Walking Tour of Boyle Heights →
I’ve always wanted to do one of Trekking L.A.’s walking tours, but at $25 a pop, admission is kind of pricey, right? But if you feel like splurging, you might be into this walking tour of Boyle Heights. It takes place this Sunday, at 3pm.
Boyle Heights is currently known as the center of Mexican American culture in Los Angeles. But this wasn’t always the case – this neighborhood...
Amazing 3D recording by Pogo (headphones required)... →
Headphones required for this one, friends. I’ve been following Pogo and his audio/visual mashups of Disney movies (turns out he had a deal with Disney, anyone else would probably be in sue-city for such a thing), and this binaural mashup of Up was certainly worth a listen.
3D audio (aka binaural audio) is yet to become massively popular, but it somehow seems way cooler than 3D visuals....

Adventure Time is so goodhearted, wildly funny, and beautifully drawn. If you were a fan of Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, A.T. will probably be right up your alley.
